Hi Gwyn, nice set of pics…. looks bloody cold though….
Very cold! Was around -3 degrees with wind chill…
Hi Gwyn,
I do like the first one, even though I suspect that being shrunk for the web doesn’t really do it justice.
I hope that everything is going well oop North.
Cheery,
Jason.
Thanks Jason. I tried loads of different exposures to try and get the right look. The smaller aperture makes a huge difference! You can see the star like appearance which is what I wanted for the lighthouse. On a wider aperture, its just a big ball of light. F16 gave the best star look but for some reason my “blub” exposures weren’t working properly. Have to look into that. But this F11 shot worked well enough.
All is going well up North š
great pics, i grew up i Blyth and this makes me miss it a little
Thanks Marc,
I’ve only been in Blyth for 3 weeks so far… unfortunately after work, its usually dark š¦ I hope to find more places to shoot in the summer.
