After our visit to Coffs Harbour and the surrounding area, it was time time to go back home. We stopped at a small town called Yumba which was lovely. Nothing flash, but had a lot of character and would be a nice place to visit in future. We then moved on to Byron Bay which is much more popular with tourists and back packers. It looks like there’s lot to do in Byron Bay and there’s always something going on.
Day 42 – Heading back to the Gold Coast

Again – stunning pictures! cheers, Radmila
Thanks Radmila, I’m having so much fun and photographing everything is just a joy! So many different types of subjects to shoot! I don’t know how I’d do without Marko’s Lightroom Presets now! They are so useful! I mainly use the Black Clipping and Punch presets. And my gradient tool is permanently set at -0.5 of a stop 😉 I’m using the photoshop stuff that Marko showed mainly on my flash images.
That last one… 🙂
Please have pity on us back in the UK — it’s raining here, you know.
I looked at the tempreture 2 days ago in the UK and I nearly passed out! How cold? 😉 December 23rd is going to hit me like a lead brick!
On that last image, getting a good exposure was quite difficult, so I used a load of fill light in Lightroom to get detail in the rocks and the tree on the left.
Hi Gwyn,
Your pics are amazing I am going to miss your daily updates!!!
Love Andrea
Thanks Andrea! 🙂 I’m going to miss Australia too!! Really enjoyed it here…
Great pictures as allways ! now get on that plane and get back to soggy UK now, that’s enough of sunshine and sea.
